Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy
Certain therapists at Chambers and Blohm Psychological Services are trained to provide services to children and adolescents. A child or adolescent may attend therapy for a variety of reasons including:
- Disruptive and defiant behavior
- School concerns
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Anger management
- Sleep problems
- Relationship concerns
- Social skills
- Coping with an event or trauma
- Eating disorders
- Autism spectrum and other developmental issues
- ADHD
- Problems related to family functioning
- Adoption issues
- Self-injury or suicidal thoughts
Our child and adolescent therapists are trained in a number of evidence-based approaches including play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT).
