Parent training helps equip caregivers with practical tools to support their child’s emotional and behavioral development. It can be delivered as part of the process of Parent-Child Interaction Therapy or PCIT, which involves both the caregivers and the child (learn more here), or with the caregivers alone.
Caregivers enjoy a safe space to process the challenges of parenting, while also learning about their child’s unique diagnosis and the evidence-based behavioral strategies that will work best for meeting that child’s needs.
